Today.

Alright there's a reason why I decided to have that as the title of the post. I'll tell you about it in a bit. Early in the morning we had to listen to a presentation by an Iranian (I think) PhD student on Music as a therapy for teaching mentally retarded children. It was quite interesting, well not really but at least I think he really knew what he was talking about. Then there was Dr. Foo's class and again he ended the class a little early (we love you!) and he made this special statement which was "Some people have skin allergies but you guys are totally different because you're allergic to 'time'". Couldn't agree better. Ha ha. Then on my way back I bumped into my tutor back in semester 4 if I'm not mistaken. We exchanged smiles and he asked a few questions and I can't help but at that very moment I was trying really hard to recall his name. After we said goodbye, I came to my senses. Okay his name is Mr. Too. Dad was like, "Hello? Even I know his name. You've got only 2 tutors right? The other is Burn, no?" Note: This is what happens when you have your dad in the same faculty and he obviously knows almost every single person there. (Moral: Berhentilah duduk bawah ketiak ibu bapa.Hehe).

Okay all those are actually commercials. Back to what I'm supposed to tell you. I went to visit a lecturer who had complications after her appendix removal surgery. I didn't know her that well but I heard that she was one healthy lady. Seeing her lying on the bed in the ICU, I can only pray that she will be get better Insya Allah. After sharing a few thoughts with Dad, I ended up thinking. I still have today when I can attend classes, gossip with friends, to laugh, to smile, to do my bloody assignments and whatever I want to do, but what about tomorrow? We'll never know what will happen the next minute, hour or day, and we can't predict what's written, because Allah said, 'kun fayakun'. Talking of which, I've realised that I had so many things to do, but it seems like there's so little time. I think I'd have to cancel out some very ridiculous-will never happen-not in a million years items in my wishlist. Yeah, we can always plan things but HE knows best. Life's short they say. But we'll never know how short is 'short'? It's beyond imagination. Every beginning has its own ending. So as life.

So, Today I've learned that we shouldn't take things for granted.
